16 May !!!
This goes out to all the teachers (kindergarten, primary, secondary, institute of higher learning and religious) and also the teachers-to-be out there!
Not forgetting the first teachers we’ve ever known; our father and mother.
Your deeds are not forgotten.
Today, I received few sms wishing me...One of the sms stated "Selamat Hari Guru...guru besar!"
my first reaction was..."Huh?" . Quite surprised because the first wish comes from a six years old kid from rsk. Where the h**k did he get my number? Hahahaha!!
Please take note I'm not really a gurubesar. I am an owner and a manager of a kindergarten. "Guru Besar" is my nickname among si kecil. It's all started from my sister [the real principal] Her intention is to scare them off. That was in 2003 and Tah macamana melekat sampai skrg. Whenever they see me, they will jerit "Hi Guru Besar" even at shopping complexes, kedai makan, pasar malam or any tempat awam.
It is not easy to become a kindergarten teacher. I've been observing this experience for the past 6 years. Kena banyak bersabar dan kena ada personal touch sikit. Imagine being with more than 80 kids with different characters on daily basis.
